City of Nagoya PPP Business Sakae Bus Terminal - HIROBAs
- On Saturday, February 22, 2020, "Mitsukoshimae HIROBAs" opened on the site of the former Sakae Bus Terminal in Hisaya Odori Park, Nagoya City. - Following Meijo Park (North Garden) Tonarino, in February 2019, Chubu Doboku, together with Chunichi Shimbun (Representative Constituent Organization), Sankosha, Dentsu, and Mitsukoshi was selected as the best proposer in a proposal competition for the project to utilize the site of former Sakae Bus Terminal (South Fountain Platform) in Nagoya. - The concept is "A place for attracting and interacting with customers and everyone who gathers there can be a hero". - The name HIROBAs expresses the memory of the Sakae Bus Terminal and the desire to create a new “open space for everyone”, in which the people who gather here become heroes. - Facilities such as Tokyo Mercato (Italian BBQ/restaurant) where you can see the TV tower directly in front, Family Mart, etc. In the plaza, there is a 70m mini truck made of cork heat-shielding pavement Dream Cork ( Patent Acquired by ChubuDoboku Co.Ltd,.), artificial turf, etc. We are planning to create a comfortable park space with a public viewing so that everyone can support the athletes during the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics from July to September.
